Shaker Road School does its very best to provide a quality education with the resources and tools available to us. We currently have excellent resources and facilities on campus and strive to continue to provide new opportunities for students, but the cost of a high quality education increases every year. We understand that tuition costs are demanding and therefore would like to keep these expenses at a reasonable level. With your help we can make this possible. Tuition supports only a portion of our expenses. The difference between tuition costs and the actual cost for educating students is still high. This difference can be made up by the funds you give.
Your gifts can help enhance the Shaker Road School community so that we can continue to make our students’ educational experiences special. Your gifts will help us attract quality teachers, provide financial aid, and keep facilities, technology, co-curricular activities and academic programs up-to-date.

PARENT-TEACHER GROUP
The SRS Parent Teacher Group is a non-profit organization designed to provide support to the Shaker Road School community. The group consists of dedicated parents and teachers who work together raising funds for classroom or school gifts and organizing activities. In past years they have provided playground and fitness equipment, campus decorations and plantings, teacher tools, and more. The PTG also organizes “welcome back to school activities” for new and returning families as well as informational nights with guest speakers for interested parents. The group has regular meetings and new members are always welcome to join.

Robert s. hicks scholarship fund
The Robert S. Hicks Scholarship Fund is named in memory of the late Robert Hicks, original owner of the Shaker Road School property and father of current owner Douglas Hicks. As a father and grandfather, Robert loved children and was dedicated to the success of Shaker Road School and the children who attended. The fund was set up in his name to provide financial assistance to those who may not be able to afford the tuition at Shaker Road School. Each year funds are allocated to deserving students who make Shaker Road School the community that it is today.
